Abstract

The era of globalization is the most terrible revolution whose influence is felt in various aspects of human life such as social, economic and cultural conditions.

If traced, it turns out that the nuances of globalization have been seen since the time before Christ, moving slowly through generations, boundaries by boundaries of individual existence, community groups, even dramatically changing the world, especially at the end of the 21st century. The era of globalization of communication and information is very difficult to contain, because the world in general enjoys this situation. Regardless of the impact that can be caused in the political and cultural life of a particular nation or country.

From a theological study, the globalization of the Church is not an incidental event, but has become the essence of the Church on this earth, as Jesus has mandated, "...go and make disciples of all nations...". However, from a historical review, it is very clear that the world situation has contributed a lot to the ups and downs of the church's development, although the situation itself cannot stop the church's development.
