MATERIALITAS KESELAMATAN DALAM TEOLOGI PEMBEBASAN GUSTAVO GUTIERREZ

Abstraction
This paper is an explanation of the materiality concept of salvation in Gustavo Gutierrez's liberation theology. The main purpose of writing this paper is to describe the materiality dimension of salvation in Gustavo Gutierrez's liberation theology and the methodology he uses. Completion of this paper will use a descriptive study of the literature. The author uses a number of literature such as books, journals and other sources that need to support the writing of this topic of discussion.
After working on this paper, it is found that the materiality of salvation taught by Gutierrez places great emphasis on social, economic and political liberation and expects individual transformation as a part of the liberation process. God's work in Christ, which the church also did later, was to save humanity from all social, economic and political injustice.
